Here's a look at five more players who might possibly fit the Cowboys' needs.Matt Stover, who sold programs outside the stadium as a kid growing up in the area, kicked four field goals to wipe out an early deficit, then Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McClain ripped off long, record runs each time the Cowboys got close in the final minutes, sending Baltimore to a 33-24 victory on Saturday night and a step closer to the playoffs...DeMarcus Ware added three sacks to his NFL-leading total and the Cowboys took down Eli Manning eight times on their way to a crucial 20-8 victory Sunday night in a game where all eyes were otherwise on Tony Romo, Terrell Owens and Jason Witten...Deshea Townsend scored on a 26-yard interception return with 1:40 remaining as the Pittsburgh Steelers scored their only two touchdowns 24 seconds apart to rally from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter and deal the Dallas Cowboys a potentially damaging loss, winning 20-13 on Sunday...How does the team do with and without the player? Although you cannot always examine a team without a certain player if they never leave the game, you can judge their value to a team based on the talent and productivity around them. Of course you can judge a player off of statistics, and many MVP winners win their award based off incredible statistics, but it never tells the true story...Bottled up all season, and his frustration starting to show, Owens broke out with seven catches for 213 yards and the Dallas defense played great when it had to, helping the Cowboys beat the San Francisco 49ers 35-22 Sunday...Tony Romo and Terence Newman were back Sunday night, and so are the Dallas Cowboys, who put themselves firmly back into the NFC playoff race with a 14-10 victory over the Washington Redskins...Eli Manning threw three touchdown passes, Brandon Jacobs rushed for 117 yards and a score and the Giants defense took advantage of the continued absence of the injured Tony Romo to intercept three passes in a 35-14 victory on Sunday...In his second start subbing for injured Tony Romo, Johnson repeatedly threw passes that probably wouldn’t get first downs but also likely wouldn’t be intercepted. His safety-first approach annoyed the home fans—until the Dallas Cowboys walked away 13-9 winners over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday...Steven Jackson ran for 160 yards on 25 carries with three touchdowns and the Rams (2-4) looked like contenders instead of sad sacks for the second straight game under new coach Jim Haslett in a surprisingly easy 34-14 victory on Sunday...Sean Morey blocked Mat McBriar’s punt and Monty Beisel scooped up the ball and scored from 3 yards to give the Arizona Cardinals a crazy 30-24 overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday...The Cowboys let a 17-point lead shrivel to one, then had to break up a 2-point conversion that could’ve tied it midway through the fourth quarter. The defense is going to be very fast, and Adam Jones has been reinstated and could be a valuable addition...Some things just annoy us enough to lower a draft grade, getting pigheaded on a player when a much better option is there is one of them...The top needs for the Cowboys to fill in the upcoming draft and free agency
