The Hazboy gives Cowboy Stadium a thumbs up, but I wish they would allow personal cameras inside. We are already paying a lot of money for tickets and parking !!! |

At halftime of Sunday’s game against the Seahawks the Cowboys inducted three more players into their Ring of Honor at Cowboys Stadium. The three players were Drew Pearson, Charles Haley and Larry Allen. The last inductions into the Ring of Honor came in 2005 when Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin were inducted together. With the three new additions it brings the total number of players in the Ring of Honor to 18. Then add in Coach Tom Landry and General Manager Tex Schramm. |

As I mentioned in one of my other pictures, you are not allowed to bring in a detachable lens for a camera more than 3 1/2 inches long.....they measure the lens at the gate if you try to bring one in. I bought a point-and-shoot camera before my trip. If I zoomed in to field level the pics are a little grainy. |

Seattle would move the ball down the field well against Dallas, but it seemed every time they would get close to a touchdown, they would either settle for a field goal or quarterback Tavaris Jackson would get intercepted.
Dallas won the game 23-13 at Cowboys Stadium |

In the first half of their game with visiting Seattle, Dallas moved the ball well, but only came up with two field goals. In fact the score was only 6-6 at the end of the second quarter, and some of the fans were booing in frustration.
The Cowboys regrouped at halftime, and scored 2 touchdowns and defeated Seattle 23-13 |

I guess Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does not like people taking good pictures (with a good camera) of his team, and they are nicknamed "America's Team".
Here is Dallas trying to move the ball from their own 2 yard line..only 98 yards to score a touchdown.

You can see #9 Tony Romo in the middle. He is their quarterback and has dated Carrie Underwood and Jessica Simpson in the past |

With the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders cheering them on, the Boys take the field at Cowboys Stadium. Dallas defeated Seattle 23-13 when the game got started. |

There are 2,900 TV screens throughout the facility, making it virtually impossible to miss a play on the field no matter where you are in the stadium...like the concession stand, bathroom, etc. |

Before the Dallas Cowboys game at Cowboys Stadium there is a pavillion outside with live music, contests and other fun stuff to see. These guys (all in Dallas Cowboys jumpsuits) were an all-drum band who were really good (they put Ringo to shame....LOL)
I am not a Cowboys fan, but the team's uniforms...which include the lone star (Texas IS the Lone Star State |

If you want to bring a nice camera with a detachable lens inside the stadium...think again, They only allow "point-and-shoot" cameras into Cowboys Stadium (aka "JerryWorld"). I knew this ahead of time and purchased a little Canon Powershot 310HS. These pics from the stadium are with this camera. Not as good as my "primary" Canon camera, but it will do. |

I just like the helmet....and the beer stand. Taken outside Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas |

As we all walked toward the entrance gates to our side of Cowboys Stadium we passed a private party area (to the left of the can) and saw this beautiful sight. Men openly wept. We all hugged and tried to captured this moment of beauty forever. Some men went up to the can, said some inspirational words to themselves, and tried to wrap their arms around it in lifelong appreciation of the cherished product.
Here is a classic Miller Lite commerical from 1986:

Brothers Bobby and Danny (who are twins) brought their wives to Cowboys Stadium for the game against Seattle. They all had a fun time before the game; Danny's wife Jenny (on the right) purchased a mini Miles Austin child.

Talk about a downer, going from getting compliments on my ultra-cool Mustang to this very-yellow Aveo. The Chevy Aveo is a no-frills car, equipped with a steering wheel, an engine, tires, and a cup holder...and that's it. One more thing I forgot:
yellow paint. |

I stayed in Hillsboro for each of my two nights on my trip. Hillsboro is about halfway between Dallas and Waco on I-35. I did not really do anything in Hillsboro besides have a coffee at the Starbucks and take a picture at the drive-thru liquor store. (I did not buy any beer) |
